How to connect to the #afd channel on IRC.

To connect to dalnet the preferded method is to use an irc client. You can also use a program called telnet to connect to dalnet.

Once you connect to DALnet use the following commands:

/quote nick <your name>
Sets your name if it got cut off before. ex: /quote nick dalvenjah
/join #<channel>
Joins a "room". All room names begin with '#' ex: /join #afd
/leave #<channel
Leaves a "room". ex: /leave #afd
<just type anything>
Say something to the others in the room. ex: Hi there. :)
/me <action>
Do an action. ex: /me hugs Skant tightly. ==>* dalvenjah hugs Skant tightly.
/list
List all the available "rooms". ex: /list
/channel
List list indiviguals on the channel. ex: /channel
/quit <message>
Quit, and leave an optional message as you leave. ex: /quit I'll be back!
/msg helpServ ?
/msg helpServ <Topic>
Get Dalnet help commands. ex: /msg helpServ join

DALnet Connect to DALnet. In Chat Now! section click the Go button and type /join #afd
